Is normally a four day course. There is theory and confined water (swimmingpool or shallow water). You also need to do 4 dives in the ocean.
The maximum depth is 18 meters and you need to be older than 10 years (under 15 years you can dive maximum 12 meters).

We normally do the course in four days, you can do it locally, but we recoomend that the openwater dives should be done in the Similan Islands. We have our private Padi Instructor on the destination, if you book in advanced we can guarantee your quality. Click for more information...
Day 1 & 2: Theory in the classroom and practise in the swimmingpool.
Day 3 & 4: 4 Dives at the best divesites in the area with a speedboat.

The first day in the classroom and learn essentiual skills in a swimmingpool or similar environment. And then two days on the local diveboat around Koh Chang for 4 dives.
