Is normally a two day course. There is theory and confined water (swimmingpool or shallow water). You also need to do 2 dives in the ocean.
The maximum depth is 12 meters and you need to be older than 10 years.
If you want to upgrade this course to a Open Water course you can do that any time.
Day 1: Theory in the classroom; with Open water video, discussion with the instructor, questions and quiesses.
Practise in the swimmingpool with different skills so that you will feel safe in the ocean.
Day 2: 2 Dives at the Similian Islands, the best divesites in Thailand. The first dive is normally from the beach that will get you started slowly.
Including in the course is; the books, equipment for rent, lunch and drinks during the boat days, transfer to all activities, insurance, instructor and a certification when you have fulfilled all qualifications.
